Synopsis

This 1-day course is designed for those individuals responsible for the installation, configuration, calibration and maintenance of the Rosemount 4088 A/B Modbus/BSAP Multivariable Transmitter.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course attendees will understand the operation and interface capabilities of the Rosemount Transmitter Interface Software (RTIS) and the Field Communicator and be able to:

  • Explain the operation principles of the transmitter
  • Configure and test utilizing the RTIS software and the Field Communicator
  • Perform proper installation, calibration and troubleshooting of the Transmitters
  • Perform proper configuration of the transmitters Modbus parameters

Prerequisites

Basic pressure, temperature and flow instrumentation knowledge. Basic Modbus/BSAP knowledge also helpful.
