NECI is an employee-owned company, and we believe this is one of our greatest strengths as an organization. As employee-owners, all of our employees have a stake in the success of our business. With the NECI Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), we offer a contribution-based retirement plan that invests in common company stock. These shares are held in the ESOP trust until the employee leaves the company – either by moving on to another organization or retiring. At that point, NECI buys the shares back.

NECI has seen tremendous growth over the last 50 years, and over the last five years in particular. Our employees benefit directly from this growth, and we believe it makes them more productive and engaged in our organization.

At NECI, we believe in supporting our community. Giving back is important to us and we do this throughout the year with several company events designed to raise funds for local charities, as well as participating in Adopt-a-Family programs each year during the holiday season.
