The DB5 Intrinsically Safe Sounder is ideally suited for use in areas of high ambient noise, with a sound output greater than 100dBA.
ATEX certified to Ex II 1G EX ia IIC T4, the DB5 offers 26 tones, user selectable using a 5-way DIL switch. For extreme noise levels, the Sounder can be linked to the RTK DA135 Intrinsically Safe Beacon to combine audible and visual warnings. The IP65 enclosure makes the DB5 Sounder ideal for the harsh environmental conditions found offshore as well as those of the onshore oil, gas and chemical industries.
