Roxar SAM Acoustic Sand Monitor is a non-intrusive sensor that provides real-time production sand information, allowing increased oil & gas production rates and less topside erosion events.
The referenced instrument is based on acoustic technology and proprietary algorithms that translate the sand noise into actionable data. The Roxar SAM provides an immediate response to sand production that allows production flow adjustment, sand separator efficiency monitoring and other onshore and offshore upstream applications. The referenced instrument data can be enhanced further with Roxar SandLog and / or Permasense corrosion and erosion monitors.
