Synopsis

This 1-day course instructs students, through lectures and hands on lab experience, on proper installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of the Rosemount 5400 & 5300 Series HART Radar Level Transmitters.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:

  • Explain the 5300/5400 radar's operation principles
  • Identify and explain the functionality of 5300/5400 parts
  • Perform proper installation and wiring of the 5300/5400 Radar
  • Perform proper configuration and testing of the 5300/5400 Radar
  • Using Radar Master software, properly install and troubleshoot the 5300/5400 Radar transmitter
